I completed my MD training at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), one of India’s leading centres for psychiatric education and research. During my residency, I focused on cultivating a deeply empathetic, non-judgmental approach to mental health care, developing a nuanced understanding of a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions. I honed my skills in balancing pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation, always tailoring interventions to each individual’s needs. I also developed a special interest in childhood and adolescent mental wellbeing, particularly in addressing behavioural issues and fostering early resilience.
